The H110 motherboard with M.2 support is built around the Intel Core i5‑6th Gen/7th Gen platform (Socket LGA 1151) and the Intel H110 chipset, offering a compact, economical yet modern foundation for a desktop system. It supports 6th and (via BIOS update on many boards) 7th generation Intel Core / Pentium / Celeron CPUs, and provides dual-channel DDR4 memory through two DIMM slots (up to 32 GB in many cases).

What makes this variant stand out is the inclusion of a Socket M.2 slot (type 2242/2260/2280) which supports both SATA-mode and (in some models) PCIe-mode SSDs. This allows you to pair in a fast M.2 SSD for your operating system or applications, improving boot and load-times compared to only SATA-drives. Expansion includes a full-length PCIe x16 slot (for a discrete GPU) plus one or two PCIe x1 slots. Storage support includes four SATA III (6 Gb/s) ports for hard drives or SSDs. Back-panel I/O offers HDMI/DVI/VGA video outputs (when using integrated graphics), USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet and high-definition audio.
