🔍 Symptoms of a Faulty Display Ribbon Cable

If this cable is damaged or loose, you may experience one or more of these issues:

No image on the laptop screen

Horizontal or vertical lines on display

Flickering or intermittent image

Display changes when you move the lid
These behaviors often point to a worn or failing flex cable. Replacing it with the correct 40‑pin DC02001MG00 cable usually fixes the problem.

The display ribbon cable (also called the LCD video cable, LVDS/eDP cable) is the internal flex cable that connects the motherboard to the laptop’s LCD screen. It carries the video signal, backlight power, and often the webcam/antenna wires between the mainboard and the display. If this cable is faulty, you might see flickering, distorted images, or no display at all even though the laptop powers on. WIT Computers
