• Dual-point: This version includes both the standard touchpad below the keyboard and a trackstick (also known as a pointing stick) positioned in the middle of the keyboard. For dual-point systems, there are two sets of mouse buttons—one set above the touchpad for use with the trackstick and another set below the touchpad.
• Single-point: This more common configuration features only the touchpad for cursor control, with a single set of mouse buttons located below it. 
• Fingerprint reader: Some variants include a fingerprint reader for secure, biometric login.
• Smart card reader: Other versions may feature an integrated smart card reader.
• Speakers: In some assemblies, the internal laptop speakers are also mounted within the palmrest.
• Power button: The power button and its corresponding circuit board can also be part of the assembly.
