The HP Pavilion CPU cooling fan with part number 646578-001 is a laptop internal CPU cooler fan used in many HP Pavilion and Compaq Presario models from the G4-1000, G6-1000, and G7-1000 families. It’s the component that draws cool air over the heatsink and expels heat out of the chassis to prevent the processor from overheating, throttling, or causing stability issues.
